Here is a list of cities with buildings of more than 700 feet (about 50 stories), as of 2010. Clearly, New York City and Chicago have the most.

The resort cities of Las Vegas and Honolulu are high on the list, but most of their tall buildings are hotels that are not in the downtown area. As a result, Las Vegas and Honolulu don’t have the typical downtown skylines of other cities on this list.
